Azure Arc extends Azure management to on-premises and multi-cloud infrastructure—except it barely works in enterprise hybrid environments. Arc sounds perfect in Microsoft presentations: unified management, consistent policies, centralized monitoring. Reality check: Arc generates ghost registrations faster than you can clean them up, certificate management becomes a full-time job, and private link implementations require networking expertise most teams don't have.
